I think as of recent UFC 312 has gone under the radar a bit after 2 title fights were announced and no news past that. It’s a bit worrying for me that practically none of the mainstream Aussie fighters are showing interest in the fight. I want to know Verdicts opnion on who could actually fill in the main card. This is my summary of who could and couldn’t fight. JDM❓ (Sources have said it’s unlikely he’ll be on this card at all, along with the rumours of a matchup with Leon its wild they more likely than not missed out on an Usman matchup.) Volk ❌ (More than likely fighting Topuria for the title a little later in the year.) Whittaker ❌ (Highly doubt Whittaker comes back after 4 months with a pretty bad injury) KKF❓ (Probably fighting for a title next unless Figgy tries his luck. They’re probably saving Moreno for Mexico City and I doubt Kai takes that fight.) Steve Erceg ✅ (Tim Elliot seems like a matchup to make however it all depends on how his recovery has gone after but I’d give him a 70% chance of returning.) Tai Tuivasa ✅ (Typically fights on the Australian cards and has been out for a while now.) Dan Hooker❓ (Gaethje is pretty much confirmed at this point, who is aiming for a March return and Dan teased being on the Miami card) Israel Adesanya ❌ (Booked for UFC Saudi Arabia) Carlos Ulberg ❌ (Booked for UFC FN London)
