My theory on why there's still so many events at the UFC Apex đź’

The UFC is going big on securing site fees and has been for a while. Let me explain what site fees are- The UFC gets paid by local governments to bring events to their cities. The Abu Dhabi government reportedly pays $25 Million for each event the UFC brings. The Australian Government (NSW) made a three-year, $16 Million deal with the UFC to bring events there. Saudi Arabia is reportedly paying a $20 Million site fee for the Fight Night event in June. Today, the UFC announced that they did a deal with OC Vibe to bring at least 3 events to the Honda Center in Anaheim every year. Here’s where it gets interesting- these include Fight Night cards. Basically, the UFC is so hot right now that they’re trying to get paid by local governments to bring events to their cities in exchange for the exposure. The UFC drives economic impact by encouraging travel to these cities. This all brings me to this point- I think the UFC is waiting to secure site fees for every event and is fine chilling in the Apex until that point. Let me know what you ya’ll think. PS- I love the Fight Forum. This place is dope.
