Post to finally put all the delusion to rest: Gorilla v 16 UFC Fighters
Now these past couple days I’ve been seeing a lot of posts asking an interesting question. Who would win, 100 Humans or a Gorilla. Now I thought about this and came to the conclusion that a Gorilla would most likely gas after killing about 40-50 Humans and would most likely lose. After that I saw an interesting Verdict post which showed me just how uneducated people are on wild animals. A full grown wild Sliverback v 16 UFC fighters. This might be one of the easiest question I’ve ever had to answer but apparently many disagree with me. So I have created this post to explain how this isn’t like the 100 men v 1 Gorilla comparison and how this isn’t even close if you think about it. 1. Physical Attributes * Muscle Mass & Density: A silverback gorilla is built like a biological tank. It weighs between 350–550 lbs, most of it dense, functional muscle optimized by evolution for combat, climbing, and territorial dominance. Human MMA fighters on the other hand have muscle but have an extremely more soft and tender muscle and density. They also only weighing in around 125-265 pounds * Strength Estimates: * A full grown Gorilla Can lift up to 1,800–2,000 lbs (roughly the weight of a Smart car). While a pro mma fighter can lift a decent amount of weight but literally nothing in comparison to 2 Tons * Can throw an average human (150 pounds) like a ragdoll while the any of the mma fighters can’t even lift the animal. * Gorillas can run 25-30 mph which is faster than Usain Bolt and around double the average persons sprinting speed * Punch force estimated to be 1,300–2,700 psi, which can shatter bones or crush skulls. Even the strongest MMA fighters top out at about 300–500 psi punching force. It’s like comparing a sledgehammer to a jab. 2. Bite Force and Natural Weaponry * Bite Strength: Gorillas have a bite force of 1,300 psi (stronger than a lion’s). A single bite to a limb or neck could result in instant severance or fatal bleeding. * Canine Teeth: Their canines grow over 2 inches long and are designed to rip and pierce, not just intimidate. * Weapons Born, Not Made: No need for gloves, wraps, or shin guards. The gorilla’s fists, teeth, and arms are all organic weapons and could very easily do unspeakable damage to a human. 3. Physical Durability and Pain Tolerance * Thick skin and dense bones give gorillas incredible damage absorption. With its skin alone being 3x more durable than Human skin. * Unlike humans, gorillas don’t rely on pain signals the same way. Their evolutionary wiring makes them resilient to pain and injury, A trait that would let them shrug off minor hits while continuing to rampage. 4. Unparalleled Mobility and Dexterity * Quadrupedal knuckle-walking combined with bipedal bursts makes a gorilla unpredictable and explosive in motion. * It Can leap over 10 feet, run 25-30 mph max speed, and climb trees with hundreds of pounds on their back. * Even if surrounded, the gorilla has the range, coordination, and agility to fling bodies or escape grapples. 5. Psychological Warfare and Fear Factor * MMA fighters are used to facing other humans, not something that looks and sounds like it came from hell. * A charging gorilla unleashing roars, chest pounds, and primal fury would trigger pure biological terror. * Even hardened fighters have a survival instinct—and that instinct says: “Get away from this thing.” 6. The Chaos of Close Quarters Imagine 20 fighters trying to rush in: * They can’t all attack at once—only 3–5 can engage in melee at a time due to spacing. * The gorilla could grab one, slam them into another, bite a third, and still be on its feet without wasting a drop of sweat. * Grappling with a gorilla is suicidal—it can grab with hands and feet, and swing enemies like dolls. * Blood, broken limbs, and panic would break human coordination immediately. 7. Endurance and Stamina * Gorillas can engage in high-intensity activity for longer than most expect. They’re built for explosive movement, but even short bursts would be enough. * After incapacitating the first 5–10 fighters, the remaining humans would be injured, terrified, and disorganized. 8. Historical Comparisons & Analogies * Baboons, which are half the size of gorillas, have been seen killing leopards and other apex predators. * Chimpanzees (1/3 the size of a gorilla) have ripped faces off humans in rare attacks and are known to be twice the strength. * Now scale that up to a gorilla, and pit it against athletic humans trained to fight each other, not beasts. 9. No Takedowns, No Submissions * MMA relies on takedowns, joint locks, and chokes—but: * You’re not double-legging a gorilla. * You’re not choking out something with neck muscles thicker than your thigh. * Even if you tried a submission, its sheer strength would tear you off before you could secure anything. 10. Nature’s Verdict: It’s Not a Fair Fight * This isn't a "fight" in the UFC sense. It's an encounter with a wild animal whose body is optimized for dominance, power, and survival. * Even if the gorilla was outnumbered, nature built it to fight predators. Humans evolved to build tools, not wrestle silverbacks. CONCLUSION: THE GORILLA WINS No matter how tough or skilled the 20 MMA fighters are, they’re still fragile, coordinated primates trying to subdue a massive Silverback. Without tranquilizers, weapons, or divine intervention, the gorilla tears through them like a hurricane through tents. But It should be known that with weapons or time to prepare, The Humans should be able to win. Just saying, Y’all watch one Lucas Tracy video and you take it as the gospel… if you do your research or ask a expert on Apes, you will find that this question is utterly stupid and the people that really think 16 UFC fighters can beat a Silverback are truly delusional.
