Sodiq Yusuff🇳🇬 (13-4) is a good technical striker who prioritizes fast and powerful boxing combinations that can include or end with leg kicks. He can mix it up with good takedowns where he can bank rounds if needed with his top control. He's coming off two losses to veteran Edson Barboza and recent title challenger Diego Lopes, but I'm still of the opinion Sodiq is one of the most underrated on the roster. After a layoff of around a year, I expect Yusuff will be better than ever. Mairon Santos🇧🇷 (15-1) is a decent striker who prioritizes range and utilizes feints, teeps, and leg kicks to control exchanges on the feet. He doesn't have much offensive grappling but has solid takedown defense almost anywhere besides against the cage, which seems to be a problem for him. I'll be honest, I'm not exactly sure why Mairon is getting this matchup. He should have lost his last fight and even admitted so himself in an interview. Fighting up afterward feels silly. My pick is Yusuff by dominant decision but I won't be shocked if Santos gets slept.
