Just watched Bedtime MMA’s review of this card and bro is chatting sh*t man this card was genuinely pretty good especially the prelims I personally really enjoyed them. I missed the first fight ngl but sick KO. Mike Davis masterclass dominated round 1 I was fuming that he didn’t get the sub and fair play to Ramirez bro was defending the RNC really well and seemed to be having a good time for someone getting graped. 2nd round started off competitive Ramirez looked alright on the feet but a huge knee was the start of the end, good fight. Valkan Walker genuinely has a better chance of beating Tom Aspinal than most ufc fighters, Tom’s only real loss was a heel hook. Valkan Walker gets a 3rd heel hook win in a row literally just bųm rushes Nzechuku and shoots a takedown from a literal mile away and somehow makes it work. Genuinely how f*cking bad is heavyweight, everyone saying Kennedy would be a top 5 heavyweight in a year chalk that one off of the bingo card because realistically I don’t see him making further than the top 10. I hope Valkan can go far seems like a funny dude. WE WERE ALL IN TEARS SEEING LAUREN MURPHY’S RETIREMENT. The fight was very boring until the third Lauren Murphy nearly locked up a nasty guillotine I honestly dunno how she didn’t get it to be honest. Eduarda Moura don’t quit your day job you are absolutely terrible. Jake Matthews masterclass literally just stops the kicks and then jumps on his back easy RNC. Then calls out my goat, my glorious king Gilbert Durinho Burns… Book it. Max Griffin vs Chris Curtis holy snoozefest that fight was terrible Chris Curtis ain’t beating anyone half decent this was a terrible performance I genuinely see an argument to score it for Griffin. Such a boring fight worst on the card I’d argue. Thank you Tuco Tokkos for giving me some free XP, I know I commented on a post saying Tafa was a lock but then I remembered he literally cannot grapple and Tokkos is a wrestler. Best switch of my life went from getting a blue ribbon to a beautiful gold belt top 10% performance and for that thank you Tuco Tacos but this fight was kinda trash and how tf was it on the main card. Vitor Petrino I mean who does that to Austen Lane man… yeah I mean its Austen Lane but Vitor will probably do good things at heavyweight as he is pretty good. Still not forgetting the fact he lost his professional undefeated record to Anthony Lion Heart Smith by round 1 sub. Nate The f*cking Train brev he might not be the best but he sure does know how to be entertaining. The Herbert Burns victim always puts on a show fairplay to him even tho he looked old and slow he definitely had his moments, Charriere’s striking is always fun to watch also and that finish was sick bro literally just saw red. Calvin Kattar… what the actual f*ck were you doing mate. Yeah just stance switch slightly outside of range Cory Sandhagen ah fight style. Sorry to that one guy who loves Kattar but your boy looked absolutely dog sh*t he is now on a 5 fight losing streak and I honestly think he could get cut after this one… I mean nobody and I mean nobody takes a beating like Calvin Kattar I’m convinced he has a pain k*nk coz he literally just gets the sh*t beat out of him most fights and stands around doing nothing. Fair play to Steve Garcia we saw a few more elements to his game and while the fight was a bit mid, it was decent performance but at the same time its Kattar who literally did nothing in the first 2 rounds. Wonderboy got done dirty he out-damaged Bonfim in round 2 and 3 scoring rules he realistically should get his hand raised but I guess the third was close. You shouldn’t win a fight by cage shoving but thats this sport I guess. Derrick Lewis beats another brazillian tax driver he is now 3 for 3 Rodrigo Nasicemento, De Lima and now Texeira. Brazillians are 0-9 in main events in 2025 not a good year for them aye. As for the stoppage sure it was sh*t but he literally cheated to get back to his feet. I don’t know if I speak for everyone when I say this but I quite literally don’t give a f*ck this fight was a bit of a nothing fight anyways. I’d rather Lewis wins anyways and he probably sleeps him if it keeps going anyways. All in all a pretty good card I really enjoyed the prelims especially a fun watch and an underwhelming card on paper that delivered above expectations for sure.
