I seriously see Charles wining. The reason is simple, Oliveira's deadly submission game. Max is elite on the feet, we all know this. But he’s never been un-submittable and he’s comfortable giving up positions, which is deadly against someone like Charles. Over five rounds, Charles will force grappling whether Holloway likes it or not, and eventually one scramble or knockdown turns into a choke. This is how I see the fight ending. Not to mention Charles’ clinching and Muay Thai. Max is purely kickboxing based. If Charles can impose his game plan and strengths, he will have an advantage everywhere where the fights goes in my opinion. He’s got more in the arsenal to offer. One thing I do need to mention is the possibility of Max finishing Oliveira. Charles is super vulnerable to right hands. Max Holloway being the orthodox, volume fighter that he is, he will throw this right hand a ton. There is a good chance he hurts Charles and finishes him. This is just an early prediction, and I am very easily persuaded so try your best in the comments. Note: this is definitely biased because who doesn’t love Charles????
