I’ve seen lots of people hating on paddy especially after this Dan beef. Let me be clear, as a big paddy fan I think what he said was wrong, but he didn’t go in on Dan’s mum he used an analogy even if it was a bad one, it was towards Dan’s grappling. Dan didn’t talk about fighting ability and said paddy was at fault for making one of his best friends committing su**ide. That’s crossing the line way to far and more disgusting. And let me be clear on this, wether you love paddy or hate him. You all loved him when he came in, you all switched up after the Jared Gordon fight. That was in a fight where paddy also broke his foot in r1 and it was close, and also, paddy isn’t a judge he can’t decide if he won, I get the cocky interview after was a bit bad but he apologised after and said he didn’t know how close it was and agreed he was to cocky. And people will always hate on him and move the goalposts, just like Chandler said. Ahead of the Chandler fight people were saying ”Chandler by ko, paddy has no chance” and paddy said, ”people are picking him but when I’m done w him they’ll say ”oh he’s to old, washed not a real win” and that’s exactly what people did. Let me be clear here, paddy pimblett is underrated. Has he beat anyone elite? No but he’s overhated and underrated and Chandler is a dangerous opponent. 5 months earlier Chandler went 5 rounds with Charles and almost finished him, then when he fought paddy the same version he’s suddenly washed? Doesn’t make sense. People are complaining about paddy’s title shot, Charles literally got a shot of a win over the same guy in a worse performance and people were fine with it. People also loved paddy for a few weeks after the Chandler fight, then switched again. When he beats Gaethje you’ll do the same. Paddy is a bad matchup for Gaethje and I don’t get why people pick JG. Now you all love Dan, but when he commented on saying he’d knock out Charles Oliveira cold, you all hated him, and now you love him? Mma fans are the worst at staying loyal, most people switch up and you’ll switch up on paddy after this and say at first ”he is very good” than you’ll go to ”Gaethje was washed” even tho he defo isn’t. It’s ironically how people hate so much because he does his job, and made one bad comment. But the other guy who said something worse, doesn’t? Not saying you should hate any of them but it’s just insane to me. Also, why are people saying Dan beats paddy, that’s incredibly funny. Dan has very poor grappling and even on the feet paddy could stand with him. I know I’ll get lots of dislikes on this, but you all know deep down or you’ll realise later that I’m right. On Jan 24th when WE beat Gaethje, you’ll switch up.
