Arnold Allen🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (20-3) will likely patiently look to use his slight size advantage mixed with good footwork, head movement, and overall range management to make himself hard to hit, slowly picking at Jean over time from Southpaw chopping the lead leg with calf kicks then using jab counters, straight lefts, body shots, and high kicks in combination with the clinch where he can negate takedowns and throw heavy punches, elbows, and knees in tight exchanges, but I'm not entirely sure he can win with this approach. He's more technical but when he performs better against low volume strikers can we just trust his durability/mobility off a injury layoff in a matchup with a powerful high volume blitz machine in Silva? Jean Silva🇧🇷 (16-3) aggressively presses forward effectively setting up strikes especially against Southpaws by hand fighting, feinting, and stance switching in order to create space where from distance he can land his powerful and creative combinations that include left straights, left hooks to the head and body, right straights, right overhands, right uppercuts, crosses, step in elbows, body kicks, and high kicks. He also uses the clinch to disrupt momentum, control distance, and obviously to land heavy elbows while using his solid forearm guard while tied up to avoid damage. Defensively he has a high guard but relies on head movement and footwork to avoid shots, frequently pulling or leaning back avoiding shots which is dangerous but can keep counters,  specifically the lead position left hook counter avaliable. I can't trust Allen unless I knew he would be doing more to exploit the Southpaw Orthodox dynamic, I think Silva will be sharper in a close one and win by (DEC), pick may change before Saturday though.
