Verdict MMA I’m a full stack software developer who’s a dedicated MMA fan. I enrolled at a software school last June and I just graduated a few days ago. I’m not looking for money, just experience and the opportunity to do what I love for something that I’m very passionate about and that’s development for an MMA app. This is gonna be a lengthy read so be prepared😂 I was gonna share some ideas that I had. Not all of them just a couple. Let me know what y’all think about them? Verdict if you wanna implement them feel free! Let’s start with the fighter section. So for the fighter section I’m not sure how many people view this section but something I think everyone would like is Updated fighter stats. Now I know it’s very hard to keep up 100% with that depending on the amount of Developers you have but having an updated fighter page with upcoming bouts would be amazing. Also to add to the fighter page (not saying make this a view in the nav) but when you click on a fighter you can view all of that fighters info including the team they are on. A very cool concept is add team pages. When a user clicks on a fighter and clicks on the team that fighter is on than they could be navigated to a team page where that teams info would be on display including all the fighters currently on that team that’s in the Verdict Database. A quality of life change would be giving the user the ability to edit and delete their posts (To be honest with you i have not yet gotten comfortable with the desktop version of the app so that might be on there but in the mobile app i know you are unable to edit or delete your post) One couple last things. Let’s go over the profile section So you have followers, following and friends on your page. I think a cool addition would be a chat feature for the Friends you have. The reason I say just friends is I know a few people on this app will most likely DM people either spamming them with toxicity or send things to people that they don’t wanna see. So in order to DM people I think having to go through the process of friending them is the safer way to do that. It’ll keep most of the toxicity you’d see in DMs out. To display the dms maybe you could set up a little chat icon in the bottom right of the app or website that brings up a chat log. One last thing is adding your posts to your profile. Pretty self explanatory. When you go to the profile page you’ll be able to see all the posts you’ve made. Same with visiting someone else’s profile. You’ll be able to see all the posts they’ve made.
