I have always supported this rule because of the health of the fighters bc especially the kicking to the grounded opponent is very dangerous. This rule have brought many controversies as aljo winning title, anthony smith could possibly take title from jon or ankalaev vs walker being NC. But first time i actually questioned the rule was when evloev was obviously trying to set up allen into illegal knee. Because of that i think that knees at grounded opponent should be legal but kicking not. Any other opinions?
