Current BMF of every Division
I wanted to make this after the latest BMF fight, and while I find the whole thing kind of silly, it’s a decent concept. No current champions or former BMF belt holders The criteria I am looking at is exciting fight style with an ability to scrap and willingness to fight whoever whenever. Flyweight: Joshua Van - always active and fighting every 2-3 months, always putting on a show, not afraid of a firefight and a definite BMF. Bantamweight: Petr Yan - a bit of a tougher division to pick, but Yan definitely has BMF qualities, from the exciting fight style, to the willingness to fight lower ranked opponents (this whole Marcus McGee BS), Yan is probably 135s frontrunner Featherweight: Jean Silva - yeah he may try to be “nice” by high fiving and hugging his opponents, but everything he throws is with bad intentions, and he literally has that dawg in him. Lightweight: (other than Max) Charles Olivera - You don’t have to be a slugger to be a BMF, and Do Bronx is definitely a bad man. His title run where he pushed through the adversity of almost being finished every single fight is just further proof of this. Welterweight: Joaquin Buckley - Although many would say Kevin “45-70” Holland, I just think some of his performances make him look like he doesn’t care. Welterweight is a tough one to pick for me because there are people who are active and willing to fight anyone but have whiny personalities (Ian Cucky), or scary guys that never fight (Shavkat). I think that Buckley has the best mix of exciting fight style and willingness to scrap mixed with good amounts of activity and a good personality. Middleweight: Azamat Bekoev - a bit of an under the radar pick with this one, but this is a guy with an exciting style who is literally asking to beat up boring fighters in the apex, just for the fun of it. If that isn’t a BMF move I don’t know what is. Light Heavyweight: Jiri Prochazka - this guy is literally a samurai who is never in a boring fight, nuff said. Heavyweight: ??? - I seriously had a hard time looking through the roster and finding a BMF. I would say Lewis, but he’s had a few too many stinkers and quitter performances, and is inactive as well. I think the front runner is maybe Volkov due to his activity and fight style, but still, when I think of him I don’t exactly see a BMF. Thanks for reading and let me know your guys thoughts.
