1. Vitor Belfort’s sister -In early 2004, Priscilla Belfort was abducted in downtown Rio after leaving her job on lunch break. After years of being a cold case, A woman named Elaine Paiva admitted to kidnapping, SAing, and killing Priscilla with her cartel over her 4,000 dollar debt. Paiva later claimed they cut her body up and buried it far into the forests of the Amazon, Still yet to be found. 2. Justin Levens Murder/Suicide -UFC vet Justin Levens and his wife were found dead in his house in 2009 with all signs pointing to a murder-suicide where Justin killed his wife out of anger and then turning the gun on himself. The fighter at the time was under suspicion of cheating during his UFC days and was suffering from depression. 3. Baroni Femicide - In 2023, Mexican UFC vet Phil Baroni was arrested and charged with “aggravated femicide” after beating his wife to death in their home. Phil remains in Mexican federal prison with a 50 year sentence. 4. Joe Son Christmas Abduction - Joseph Son who competed at UFC 4 was found guilty of a 1990 cold case where a male kidnapped, SAed, and tortured a woman at gunpoint on Christmas Eve. In 2011, Son was sentenced to 7 years in jail. 5. The Falcao Murder - At age 40, UFC veteran Marquel Falcao met his end at a Brazilian bar after getting into a heated exchange with another male. Falcao was stabbed more than 10 times in his stomach and left for dead at the entrance of the building. 6. The Penn Conspiracy - UFC legend BJ Penn has been off the rails and preaching that his entire family has been killed by the government and replaced by clones. This has led Penn to lose all his assets and end up in jail. BJ swears to take revenge which has made his mother and brother put restraining orders on him. 7. Josh Grispi’s house - In 2014, Josh Grispi was found beating his wife in their apartment where the first responders claimed it was “The worst case of domestic violence” they’ve ever seen with Josh’s wife basically unrecognizable and unresponsive at the scene. The more brutal aspect of this was Josh trained his family dog to attack her with him so as he delivered punches and kicks the dog bite her multiple times 8.
