The Neanderthal. Germany’s hottest prospect on the regional scene is LHW Frederic vosgröne. He’s been going viral for his goofy fighting style with 0 striking and only grappling. A high level BJJ grappler who’s been said to look like a juiced up paddy pimblett. He’s 5-0 as a pro and the #6 ranked LHW in oktagon. Despite his stardom and everything seemingly going well, after his win this weekend he said in the post fight press conference ”I don’t know if I’m gonna fight at oktagon again, I don’t know if I want to fight at an organisation that treats me like sht every time I fight here or attend an event. So I don’t know if the fight in cologne is gonna happen. That’s all I’m gonna say” it seems like a falling out has happened between the superstar and oktagon. From what I could find rumours say oktagon didn’t let his girlfriend backstage and treated her very poorly which has upset the undefeated prospect. And despite him not being ufc level and still very new and obviously needs to improve his striking, is this the time to get vosgröne to the ufc? Or maybe DWCS. He’s exciting and a big name and has all the hype in Europe right now. Against a can with bad grappling I could see him win. Even tho I don’t think he’s ready for the ufc at all it’d be fun to see him in the ufc. So what do you guys think, should the ufc pick up vosgröne?
