THIS IS HEAVILY INSPIRED BY TAIRASZN’S BREAKDOWNS
I think this is a classic clash between a long, awkward pressure fighter in Ruziboev and a composed, range-oriented striker in Battle. Ruziboev thrives on forcing chaotic exchanges, mixing stance switches, blitzes, and clinch aggression to break an opponent’s rhythm, while Battle prefers to control distance, build momentum, and pick clean shots before closing range on his terms. Battle’s cardio and shot selection give him an edge in longer, cleaner exchanges, but in his last fight his clinch work was more neutral than dominant, often allowing extended tie ups. I think that’s where Ruziboev can turn on the heat being offensive in the clinch with knees, trips, and body lock takedowns, and creating damage in the same mid range spots where Battle has shown vulnerability.
My pick is Ruziboev decision
