Jun Yong Park🇰🇷 (18-6) also known as "The Iron Turtle" is a durable UFC veteran who on the feet is a solid striker that presses forward utilizing his dirty boxing but primarily establishes his jab at range to open up volume combinations overall to set up his ground game. In the grappling department he doesn't have good takedowns due to his lack of a wrestling base but makes up for his lack of technique in that area of his game with having great timing when he chooses to shoot, normally capitalizing on his opponents overcommiting on punches or being fatigued. When on top, he has great control and looks to land ground & pound in volume to open up submissions. He has stated his favorite submission is the Anaconda choke, but he has notably secured multiple rear naked chokes in his career. Ismail Naurdiev🇲🇦 (24-7) is a good combination striker who quickly blitzes forward accurately utilizing close range attacks like uppercuts, spinning back kicks, flying knees, and a variety of kicks that target the head, body, and legs. In his most recent bout he did a good job damaging the legs but I can't help but notice he doesn't seem to have a lot of power in his hands and his more dangerous strikes come from his kicks and knees. Ismail is a solid offensive grappler with a brief wrestling background, which explains his selective but strong takedowns. He has an interesting way of getting opponents down through primarily shooting at the end of his striking combinations, which makes it harder to defend. Once down, Naurdiev has alright top control and looks to reign down ground & pound. Defensively, he has okay takedown defense, but his scrambles and urgency to work to his feet when taken down are more impressive.
