Considering how lackluster on paper this card was, it turned out to be a fun watch. I personally enjoyed watching this card and while there were a couple snoozers for the most part this was a darn good card despite not many big names.
Main event was pretty f*cking good as advertised I mean Max and Dustin could fight 100 times and its gonna be an entertaining back and forth war every single time. I was worried in the first 9 minutes as it was all Max but then Poirier got jnto the fight with a big knockdown and nearly locked up a guillotine, which while he didn’t get it I’m glad he got to jump the guilly one last time. I had it 49-46 and can see an argument for 48-47 but Holloway clearly won 1,3 and 5 and I also gave him 2 but I can see why you can give it to Dustin. Both absolute legends and I’m glad Dustin went out in a war just like he wanted as man it would have been sad to see him just get finished in that 1st round but unsurprisingly even in his last fight he still showed that warrior grit. For me this was arguably FOTN its between this and D-Rod vs Holland.
Paulo Costa 30-27s the big nosed fraud, getting schooled by Paulo Costa in 2025 when your supposedly a great prospect with elite striking lmao okay buddy have fun fighting in the APEX again Roman your p*sh. As for Costa I am super happy to see him back in the win column I would like to see him fight Dolidze (Once Hernandez batters Dolidze) as I think that could be a fun fight.
Kevin “Parlay Seller” Holland HOW THE F*CK ARE YOU LOSING TO D-ROD MAN… I thought this motherf*cker was gonna go on a fluke title run but no he loses to a jobber. Now in fairness D-rod isn’t a jobber but like he isn’t particularly good he went to decision with Alex Morono and then went to war with Ponzinibio, like these are not particularly good wins whereas Holland was out choking Luque out with his own move. F*ck sake Trailblazer man, I wouldn’t be shocked to hear he was injured going into this because he just did noy look good. And I’m not hating on D-Rod great performance by him he is an absolute dog and clearly hits like a truck because Kevin had a great chin. D-Rod ranked in the big 2025 what a timeline man… FOTN both absolute dawgs fairplay but man it was disappointing to see Trailblazer lose to D-rod man… maybe D-Rod is a whole lot better than I think he is and I’m just a hater, I f*ck with D-rod but man this was unexpected for me. Put some respect on D-Rods name I guess
Dan Ige and Patricio Pitbull certainly had a fight. Round 1 was definitely 5 minutes of a fight, put me to sleep. Pitbull won how I thought he would if he was going to and that was the grappling, he scored a couple takedowns which in a fight where both landed nothing it wins you the round. Round 2 Pitbull showed his power and rocked Ige bad and actually threw some punches which was mental to see, I couldn’t believe I was watching Pitbull throw more than 20 punches in 1 round. Then round 3 Dan Ige landed a huge knee that Pitbull dove into when Ige went for a head kick which hurt Pitbull bad. Literally 2 moments in this whole fight, Pitbull and Dan Ige both must have had faulty controllers because they both stood at range doing jack sh*t for most of the fight. Pitbull has some crazy power though and is a good offensive grappler but he is not gonna beat anyone who throws volume and is somewhat durable because he really just doesn’t throw enough whatsoever. Same with Dan Ige though, if you are top 15 level you will beat Dan Ige thats just the rules.
Unc still f*cking got it man great performance from Michael The Menance Johnson, MJ is on a 3 fight win streak in 2025 I mean this card was definitely for the underdogs, underdogs went 4-1 on the maincard. MJ showed even though he is near 40 bro is still super fast, like he was quicker on the feet than the young Daniel Zellhuber. Definitely think Zellhuber was overrated because -600 was wild but once again its a lesson to never bet on a Michael Johnson fight as you never know what will happen. Zellhuber enjoy the APEX.
Prelims were amazing, absolutely beautiful prelims a bunch of finishes (maincard had none)
My verdict pick was Phillips simply because of the XP gap, but I knew Oliveria was winning trust me guys… both guys are not actually that good I don’t care Vinicius Oliveria will be getting fraud checked in his next couple of fights honestly bro has 0 defence hands down the whole time, Phillips ran around like a trackstar. Constantly crashing into each other winging overhands genuinely not a good scrap “BW most tallented division” yeah ok guys… not a good showcase but a fun watch.
Marvin vs Allen was a great grudge match fight, both guys came to scrap which I can respect and I think Allen definitely won but Marvin did better than I expected.
One thing that must be said is f*ck Allen have some class you tool, “I’m not f*cking losing infront of my brother” cmon man what are you doing Marvin just lost his brother and your saying that sh*t. And yes I know Allen has a brother who is disabled and that comment was not intended to be a dig at Marvin but holy f*ck think before you speak next time I don’t care if you guys have beef.
That aside really good fight and while I wouldn’t have given it FOTN it was still a really good scrap.
Prado got robbed, Vertennikov has 0 IQ and is a genuine r*t*rd I hope he gets slimed out next fight nuff said to be honest.
“Ateba Gautier is the middleweight Ngannou bro” ok guys lets see how he does against someone actually good before we chat this waffle. Very good performance though absolutely walked through Valentine who had nothing for him. Easy easy win fair play literally can’t say anything bad about the guy I just want to see how he does against someone better.
Model x UFC fighter is a crazy story fairplay to Dulatov because he will be absolutely fine for his modelling stuff lmao bro didn’t get touched at all no bruises or nothing. Very good performance showed great power and looked pretty good.
Mate Jimmy The Brute Crute is a problem mate the way he does that ground stuff he’s a tough c*nt mate. Aussie casuals were definitely jumping for joy with this one, he was getting touched up a little on the feet but as soon as it hit the ground the 2nd time Brute locked up a clean armbar and Prachnio tried his best but he was forced to tap. Love to see Crute back into the win column.
Ryan Spann beats Lukas Breczki wow what a great win over a really good fighter… why did I see a post asking if Ryan Spann could go on a run at heavyweight?? Ryan Spann is a jobber with crazy athleticism and got chinned by Waldo jiggling at range Cortes-Acosta no he is not going on a f*cking run bro. HALLEJUAH great finish to be fair to him but Spann is super hit or miss man
Bruno Ferreira subs some absolute nobody great performance nuff said feel bad for the other dude, huge mismatch.
Great performance for Carli Judice she’s pretty good and that was a nasty Ko, genuinely enjoyed a wmma fight this was fun.
All in all a very fun card prelims were fire and 3 extremely good scraps.
