Unwritten rules 1. Exciting Loser > boring winner from Dana whites eyes
There are unwritten rules in the UFC about how fighters are treated by the promotion. It’s not just about wins and losses on paper. From Dana White’s point of view, some fighters get more tolerance, while others are held to a much stricter standard. Take Tai Tuivasa and Jairzinho Rozenstruik as examples. Tuivasa is an entertaining fighter. He does shoeys, drinks whiskey from his shoe, brings hype, and fans love him. Even if he loses 5 or 6 fights in a row, the UFC is unlikely to cut him, because he sells fights and creates moments. On the other hand, look at Jairzinho Rozenstruik. He can go 2–1 in his last three fights and still get released. Why? Because he’s seen as boring. He’s more technical, more cautious, and doesn’t always deliver exciting fights.
