Dricus du Plessis

Proudly representing the country of South Africa, du Plessis is on a roll in the UFC. 4 straight wins with three finishes, his arrival has been anything but subtle. His last win came in a Fight of The Night vs. Darren Till at UFC 282. He dominated the first round with his grappling and heavy strikes before Till made a comeback in the second. Exhausted and beaten at the start of the third, it came down to who wanted it more. du Plessis scored a takedown and, with it, found Till’s back, eventually leading to the rear-naked choke win.

Derek Brunson

As one of the long-time veterans of the Middleweight division, Derek Brunson has seen it all. He’s fought four former UFC champions in Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker, Anderson Silva, and Lyoto Machida. After earning a 5-fight winning streak that nearly launched him into title contention, Brunson saw his first and only defeat in the last four years at UFC 276 against Jared Cannonier. He lost via TKO (towel throw) in the 2nd round of a fight he was dominating up until that point.
