John Lineker will defend his Bantamweight title against Fabricio Andrade at ONE on Prime Video 3 on October 22nd at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur. There has been no shortage of bad blood between these two leading up to the fight, especially from Andrade's side.

Fabricio Andrade is a young rising star in ONE Championship. He holds a record of 5-0 with the promotion and has earned a title shot after 3 consecutive finishes. With each finish being quicker than the last, his most recent fight barely lasting a minute, Verdict MMA asked Andrade if he planned on continuing the trend and finishing the champion in sub-60 seconds:

Yeah, of course. That's my goal, (finish) him faster.

He explained further why he believes he will easily knock out the champion:

We all know Bibiano (Fernandes) is not a striker but was able to knock (Lineker) down. So Imagine what I'm gonna do to him.
- Fabricio Andrade.

Lineker's responses throughout were calm and collected despite the harsh words. He believes that his opponent is "emotional" rather than confident, and will show what he has that Andrade doesn't. He believes that his 'hands of stone' are the difference between himself and Fabricio and that all it will take to win is one shot.

This fight is a battle of explosive strikers, both looking to end their opponent violently and the fans are in for a show when they meet.
