On Instagram, UFC CEO Dana White announced the main event for UFC 300. Alex Pereira will face Jamahal Hill on April 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada, inside the T-Mobile Arena for the undisputed Light-Heavyweight Championship of the world.

This five-round title fight takes place in the Middleweight (185 lbs) division.

Alex Pereira is the UFC Light-Heavyweight World Champion and holds a professional MMA record of 9-2 (6-1 UFC), with notable wins over Israel Adesanya, Sean Strickland, and Jiri Prochazka.

Jamahal Hill is the #1 ranked Light-Heavyweight contender and holds a professional record of 12-1-1NC (6-1-1NC UFC). He has credible wins over Glover Teixeira, Johnny Walker, and Thiago Santos.

Betting Odds: Alex Pereira -145, Jamahal Hill +115

Alex Pereira is now chasing greatness in his second MMA weight class. The former GLORY Kickboxing Champion and former UFC Middleweight Champion is looking to make the first defense of his Light-Heavyweight title against its previous holder, Jamahal Hill. Pereira will be looking to use his deadly striking to finally clean up the division and continue on his path of greatness.

Jamahal Hill has the opportunity to reclaim the title he never lost. The former Champion was forced to relinquish his title in early 2023 due to injury, but now he is back and ready for his opportunity. Hill possesses an underrated striking arsenal, and in his last fight, it was on full display when he dismantled Glover Teixeira to capture the title. He'll be looking to put the pressure on Pereira and start the second coming of the "Sweet Dreams" era.
