Alexander Gustaffson and Ovince Saint Preux will fight at UFC 282 on Dec. 10th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas per Nolan King and Farah Hannoun.

This fight will be a Light Heavyweight (205 lbs) bout.

Alexander Gustaffson holds a professional record of 18-8-0 and is currently unranked.

Ovince Saint Preux holds a record of 26-16-0 and is currently unranked.

Alex 'The Mauler' Gustaffson is without a doubt one of the greatest Light Heavyweights in UFC history. The Hall of Famer holds wins over Jan Blachowicz, Glover Teixeira, and Jimi Manuwa. He was the first man to push Jon Jones in a UFC fight and many fans believe he won their 1st encounter. Likewise, with Daniel Cormier, DC always cites Gustaffson as the hardest fight of his career in a bout that many fans also scored for Gus. His greatness is only tainted by his recent losing streak in the UFC, dropping 4 fights in a row. His most recent was a KO loss to Nikita Krylov at UFC London earlier this year.

Ovince Saint Pruex also stood as one of the best Light Heavyweight fighters in the world at one point. He challenged for the title and holds wins over Corey Anderson, Shogun Rua, and Nikita Krylov. His last fight was a split decision win over Rua in their 2nd fight. He won the first by KO in round 1. Prior to the fight, OSP was 2-5 in his last 7 and was bouncing around between 205 and 265 lbs.

This is a battle of Light Heavyweight veterans in the twilight years of their careers, and it could be their last.
