The first press conference for the boxing match between social media superstar Jake Paul and UFC veteran and legend Nate Diaz just wrapped up, and to say there was drama would be an understatement.
During the press conference, a reporter, Derek, from BETR Media had more than a few words for Nate Diaz about his brother, Nick Diaz. You can see the video below.

Diaz responded with agitation towards the reporter from BETR Media, prompting Paul to tell Derek to shut up, which fizzled the incident down.
BETR, a gambling platform, is co-owned by Jake Paul, the same organization that Derek was reporting from. Many people online have speculated that Jake put the reporter up to it, and the entire altercation was a ruse to annoy his opponent, Diaz, who was visibly irritated at the remarks.
Paul and Diaz are gearing up for a massive fight on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, and this altercation will undoubtedly add fuel to the fire. What did you think of this altercation? As a member of the Verdict Community, let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
