Breaking news! Amir Albazi is out of his fight against Brandon Moreno on February 24th. Stepping in on short notice is Brandon Royval, who will face Brandon Moreno in a five-round main event fight in the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, per CC Legaspi.

This five-round main event takes place in the Flyweight (125 lbs) division.

Brandon Moreno holds 21-7-2 (9-4-2 UFC) and is ranked #1 in the UFC flyweight division. He holds notable wins over Deiveson Figueiredo, Kai Kara-Frace, and Brandon Royval.

Brandon Royval holds a professional record of 15-7 (5-3 UFC) and is the #3 ranked Flyweight contender. He holds credible wins over Matheus Nicolau, Tim Elliott, and Kai Kara-France.

Offical betting odds have yet to be released.

This is a rematch more than three years in the making. Royval and Moreno squared off for the first time in November 2020, where Moreno claimed victory due to a shoulder injury on Royvals part. Since then, Moreno has held the Flyweight crown, and Royval has challenged for it. Now, both guys will be looking to get back into the win column following their losses to Alexandre Pantoja.
