Brendan Allen is currently riding the most impressive win streak of his career. After suffering his second UFC loss at the hands of Chris Curtis, Allen bounced back with a rear naked choke victory over Sam Alvey to start his five-fight win streak. Since then, he secured a unanimous decision over Jacob Malkoun and a triplet of rear-naked chokes over Krzysztof Jokto, Andre Muniz, and Bruno Silva. He'll now be looking to bring his win streak to six when he takes on the "Bearjew" Paul Craig.
After realizing mixed success at Light-Heavyweight, amassing a UFC record of 7-6-1 in the division, Craig chose to drop down to Middleweight, where he took on Andre Muniz in his debut. After a competitive first round, Craig would begin to out-grapple Muniz before stopping him at the end of round two with heavy ground-and-pound strikes. Craig will now look to go 2-0 in the Middleweight division when he takes on Allen.
This is a terrific fight in the Middleweight division, with the winner likely facing a top-10 opponent in their next fight. So, who do you think will win? As a member of the Verdict Community, let us know your prediction in the comments below.
