Calvin Kattar answers the challenge of Arnold Allen in a Fight Night main event on October 29th, location TBA, according to Brett Okamoto.

The fight will take place at Featherweight where Kattar is currently ranked #5 and Allen is ranked #6.

Following his most recent win, a first-round TKO win over Dan Hooker at UFC London in March, Arnold Allen made callouts of every top 5 fighter in his division. He did not stop there and has been chirping for a matchup ever since.

Enter Calvin Kattar. The Boston Bomber is fresh off of a 5-round main event Josh Emmett. He lost the fight by split decision in one of the most controversial judging calls of 2022. Most fans and media alike, including the Verdict Community, scored the fight for Kattar. He did not let the setback deter him as he has a true BMF attitude and will take on anyone, anywhere.

That fearless mindset is on display as he accepts this matchup with Allen, a fight many refused. Allen is on the 2nd longest winning streak in the Featherweight division at 9, bested only by the champion. Fighters have avoided him on his rise through the rankings and he showed why when he knocked out Dan Hooker in a round in his last outing.

The Featherweight title picture is extremely foggy with the champion Alex Volkanovski seemingly entertaining a move to 155, but the winner of this fight will factor greatly in it.
