The man who plays Burnie, the mascot for the Miami Heat, was sent to the Emergency Room after taking a punch and follow-up shot from Conor McGregor. It was a promotional skit that went wrong, as that left-hand shot was just too much for the mascot.

According to the Athletic's Sam Amick, the man was taken to the ER of a nearby hospital in Miami. The man is reportedly doing well after receiving pain medication and getting sent home after the hospital visit.

McGregor isn't likely to get in trouble, given this was supposed to be a skit.
