Dan Hooker Picks Fight With Tony Ferguson
Dan Hooker has taken to social media to release his next callout. He challenges Tony Ferguson to step up to it.
Despite being close to each other in the Lightweight rankings for years now, Hooker and Tony have never been close to fighting one another. Although now may be the perfect time for it.
Tony Ferguson's last few fights have not gone his way, and he is currently on a 4-fight losing streak. The streak began at UFC 249 where he suffered a brutal 5th round TKO loss to Justin Gaethje, and it only got worse from there. His last fight was against Michael Chandler and he was put on the receiving end of the current front-runner for Knockout of The Year, a brutal front-kick KO in the 2nd round.
Dan Hooker's luck isn't much better in recent times, as he is 1-4 in his last 5 fights. His most recent fight was a failed attempt to make a resurgence by moving down to 145 lbs. He fought Arnold Allen who finished him on the feet inside of 1 round.
With their recent falls from grace, now more than ever both fighters need a win in their careers.
