Since he departed from the UFC, all eyes have been on Francis Ngannou and where he will fight next. One of the leading options, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), has recently been ruled out due to 'unrealistic' demands from Ngannou. BKFC president, David Feldman, gave a statement on the situation ahead of BKFC 41, headlined by Mike Perry vs. Luke Rockhold.

We've reached out to him, we've reached out to his team, and we just feel like he's asking for unrealistic money, and we're not willing to pay that kind of money for him.
- BKFC President David Feldman says Francis Ngannou has asked for too much money to fight.

Ngannou's UFC departure stemmed from a similar situation, in which Dana White revealed that he made unrealistic demands, including higher pay and healthcare for UFC athletes. Ngannou was the Heavyweight champion and meant to defend his title against Jon Jones.

Unfortunately, Ngannou and the UFC could not come to terms and parted ways. Jones later fought Ciryl Gane for the vacant Heavyweight Championship and won by submission in the first round.

Promotions like Bellator and the PFL have expressed public interest in signing Ngannou, but no terms or status updates have been given. The most fans know is that on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Ngannou said he would likely sign with either ONE Championship or The PFL.

David Feldman believes Ngannou is not worth what he's asked and is demanding more than his weight brings. He also thinks Francis should make up his mind soon and choose a new employer, as his star power is waning the longer he waits.

Francis left the UFC at the height of his career, being the reigning Heavyweight champion with a record of 17-3-0.

Do you believe he's pricing himself out, or will he sign a revolutionary deal the way he intends? Let us know what you think with a comment.
