Henry Cejudo snapped his three-year layoff last May when he faced the Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling in the main event of UFC 288. Despite an impressive performance and displaying why he's one of the greats, Cejudo would lose via split decision, his first loss since 2016. He'll now look to rebound against Marlon Vera in his first non-title bout since he fought Demetrious Johnson in 2018.

Marlon Vera is also coming off a loss, with his last fight against Cory Sandhagen in a five-round main event. "Chito" put on an off performance vs. Sandhagen, failing to find his rhythm and unable to hold off the pace and wrestling of Sandhagen. Although this loss stinted his title dreams, a win over Cejudo will place him right back into the conversation, and he'll be looking to use his lethal knockout power and diverse striking to secure the victory.
