Marc-Andre Barriault will be one of two Canadians competing on the main card of UFC 297 in Toronto and he is confident that he will represent his country well against fellow Middleweight contender Chris Curtis.

I hope so. I mean, last time we proved we can be one of the best countries for mma, for the UFC. I think saturday night we are gonna prove it again. we have a lot of upcoming fighers. we have what it takes.

This will be Barriault's second straight fight in his home country and he will look to make it two wins this weekend after he defeated Eryk Anders at UFC 289 in Vancouver last summer. He will be one of nine Canadians fighting on the card this time after he was one of six Canadians to get a win on the card in Vancouver last year.
