The UFC has just confirmed a top-10 Middleweight fight. Marvin Vettori will return against Brendan Allen on April 9th for the headliner of UFC Fight Night 240, which will take place in the UFC Apex in Paradise, Nevada.

This five-round main event occurs in the Middleweight (185 lbs) division.

Marvin Vettori is ranked #5 in the Middleweight division and holds a professional record of 19-6-1 (9-5-1 UFC), with notable wins over Roman Dolidze, Paulo Costa, and Kevin Holland.

Brendan Allen holds a professional record of 23-5 (11-2 UFC) and is ranked #8 in the Middleweight division. Allen holds credible victories over Paul Craig, Andre Muniz, and Bruno Silva.

Marvin Vettori is coming off a tough decision loss to Jared Cannonier. "The Italian Dream" started strong against in the fight but couldn't find success in the later rounds and would fall victim to the relentless attacks from Cannonier. Now, he'll be looking to defend his top-5 spot against an up-and-coming contender.

"All In" has had thirteen UFC bouts and is riding a six-fight win streak, with his only losses coming against the current Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis. Allen is a complete martial artist and has finished 83% of his wins in his career, and he'll be looking to get his most significant win in his second UFC main event.
