Mateusz Gamrot is the number 7 ranked UFC Lightweight contender with a record of 22-2 and has been quiet since his last fight against Beneil Dariush at UFC 280. Let's take a look at three possible options for his next fight:

Rafael Fiziev

This fight is the people's choice for the next matchup at 155. It's #6 vs. #7 and two of the most exciting fighters in the division. Fiziev' s last fight was against Justin Gaethje at UFC 286 in London. He lost a majority decision in a Fight of The Year contender. If you like this fight, hold your breath as the two have been going back and forth on Twitter about a potential fight.

Charles Oliveira if He Loses to Beneil Dariush

This fight could arguably produce the next title challenger, and as such, the winner will be aiming much higher than Gamrot, but the loser may be left in a position where the fight makes sense. Oliveira and Dariush are #1 and #4 in the Lightweight rankings. Dariush is coming off a win over Gamrot and is currently favored to beat Oliveira. Charles' last fight was a 2nd-round submission loss to the champion, Islam Makhachev, and should he lose this fight, making it two losses in a row, he'd be looking at a step down in the rankings for his next fight.

Renato Moicano

Renato 'Money' Moicano is on a hot streak at 155, currently sitting at #13. His last fight was a main event scheduled against Arman Tsarukyan, but he had to withdraw due to an injury. He was matched against the #8 contender, so moving up one spot to take on Gamrot isn't far-fetched. Both fighters are excellent grapplers with developing striking. Moicano comes from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Gamrot comes from wrestling, making for an intriguing stylistic matchup.
