Max Holloway vs. Arnold Allen is 'nearly finalized' for a UFC main event at a Fight Night on April 15th, per Brett Okamoto.

This 5-round fight takes place in the Featherweight (145 bs) division.

Max Holloway holds a professional record of 23-7-0 (19-7-0 UFC) and is currently ranked #1. His notable wins include Yair Rodriguez, Calvin Kattar, and Brian Ortega.

Arnold "Almighty" Allen holds a professional record of 19-1-0 (10-0-0 UFC) and is currently ranked #5. His notable wins include Calvin Kattar, Dan Hooker, and Sodiq Yusuff.

Official odds have yet to be released.

Many fans still regard Max Holloway as the greatest Featherweight of all time. Alongside the notable wins listed, he's defeated legends such as Frankie Edgar, Jose Aldo x2, Anthony Pettis, and Charles Oliveira. His defeats have only come at the hands of fellow greats such as Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. His last time out was viewed as the closing of his rivalry with the current champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 276. Holloway lost a unanimous decision in the clearest fight of their trilogy. Now he'll look to bounce back next against Arnold Allen and stop another top prospect.

Arnold Allen promised fans his next fight would be a big one, and the truth was told in full. With one of the most impressive stats in the UFC, Allen has amassed a 10-0 record through his first ten fights in the promotion, something very few have accomplished. His last fight against Calvin Kattar ended due to an unfortunate injury on his opponent's side, but that doesn't take away from the masterful fight he had been fighting until that point. Seen by many as the future of the division, it's all on Allen to meet expectations and prove his standing.

It's the old defending their place vs. the new in this one. Will we see a changing of the guard? Let us know your prediction in the comments below.
