A top ranked Welterweight bout was just added to the UFC 281 card, as Belal Muhammad takes on the rising Sean Brady.
Belal Muhammad (21-3) is currently ranked at #5 at 170 pounds, undefeated in his last eight bouts. "Remember the Name" dominated Stephen Thompson on the mat to earn a rematch with bonus machine Vicente Luque. Muhammad made a statement, taking home a five-round decision victory. He has a well-rounded style, with oppressive top control and consistent volume on the feet.
The undefeated Sean Brady (15-0) is one of the most promising names in a division filled with prospects. Fighting out of Renzo Gracie Philly, Brady came into the UFC as the reigning CFFC Welterweight champion. He quickly racked up five straight wins, including submissions over Christian Aguilera and Jake Matthews. His most recent appearance saw him defeat Michael Chiesa in a decision, taking home the #9 ranking in the process. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt has seven career stoppages, with four coming by submission.
The pair are slated for a three-round bout at UFC 281. The Pay-Per-View card is set for October 22nd at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
