Tye Rutolo might be a familiar name to some, as his brother Kade currently holds the ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling world title. Tye is looking to join his brother as a champion, and has never suffered defeat under the ONE banner. On the other hand, Abdulkadirov is looking to steal Rutolo's spotlight and become the inagural Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion. Magomed has dedicated his life to grappling, posseses a BJJ black belt, is an International Master of Sport in Grappling, and is a member of the prestigious Russian National Grappling Team. Jonathan Haggerty vs Fabricio Andrade

More history is on the line in the ONE Fight Night 16 main event, as both Jonathan Haggerty and Fabricio Andrade will compete for the vacant Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title. Haggerty is the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion and is coming off of a knockout over Nong-O Hama back in April that won him his title. Now the champion, Haggerty has a target on his back. He has gotten called out by some of the most feared fighters in the sport, such as Rodtang, Superlek, Liam Harrison, Nong-O, and Fabricio Andrade himself. Fortunately for Haggerty, he embraces that role and welcomes all challengers to fight for the throne. If he is able to become a two-sport world champion, ONE may have a superstar on their hands.

On the other hand, Fabricio Andrade is the ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion. Andrade was the one picked to fight Haggerty for the vacant kickboxing belt, beating out some other top contenders. Andrade has demonstrated that he is a worthy opponent and is coming off a knockout win over John Lineker in his last fight. The man they call "Wonder Boy" comes with a legitmate striking background, as he trains out of Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand and has amassed a 40-3 record in muay thai.

The winner of this fight will become a two sport champion in the ONE Bantamweight division and likely will welcome a member of what is a murderers row of contenders next.

There is an abundance of talent on this card and history will be made on Friday night. Chatri Sityodtong claims that his promotion has the best strikers in the world, and they will be on full display for this highly anticipated card.
