The most recent Paddy Pimblett callout came from Matt Frevola. The challenge came after Frevola's latest knockout at UFC 288 over Drew Dober- the first UFC fighter to do so. This marked his third consecutive KO, placing him on a three-fight win streak and in the top 15.
During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Frevola told 'The Baddy' to stop being a 'b*tch' and face him in the octagon. The call-out was met with interest by Pimblett, who responded responded on instagram, stating that Frevola might be his easiest route to the top 15.
Meanwhile, Paddy, who has a 4-0 record in UFC, is recovering after surgery on his ankle which may postpone his next fight until next year. This could stop the fight from happening if Frevola chooses not to wait. Pimblett hasn't fought since December of 2022, when he beat Jared Gordon by a controversial decision. Shouldnthisnfight take place, he'd be coming off a 1-year layoff.
