After being forced out of a scheduled bout with Tom Aspinall, Pavlovich made his case for being the 2022 Fighter of The Year with a 3-0 shutout, scoring three knockout wins. The latter two coming against Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa ended in under a minute each. With a 7-foot wingspan, Pavlovich has the 2nd longest reach in the UFC, just half an inch short of Jon Jones. With his knockout power and crisp boxing combined with a master of sport in combat sambo, the Russian is one of the most lethal fighters on the roster.
Speaking of lethal, Blaydes has become one of the Heavyweight division's best finishers. The evolution from his initial losses to Francis Ngannou early on to the striking display he's put on as of late, Blaydes has quickly become one of the most well-rounded fighters in his division, growing from a strong wrestler to a complete threat and will look to show it all in his next fight.
Both are now entering their prime time and are surging forward. Let us know your prediction in the comments below.
