The PFL returns on Friday with another card of tournament championships, as the Lightweight, Women's Flyweight, and Bantamweight tournament champions will be crowned at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. I went over each fight on the main card to give my predictions, so let's get into it.

Odds provided by Duelbits accurate as of 8/14/2025

Gadzhi Rabadanov -1111 vs. Alfie Davis +580

Our main event features the Lightweight tournament final, as these two men have fought their way through a tough bracket to reach this stage. Gadzhi Rabadanov is a dominant force with a combat sambo background and thunderous power in his hands, as he has demonstrated in his last two fights by knocking out former UFC fighters Macr Diakiese and Kevin Lee in under a round combined. Alfie Davis is a crafty striker who beat solid competition to get here, earning wins over Brent Primus and Clay Collard in a pair of very exciting fights.

I see Rabadanov being too much for Davis as his sharp and powerful style has crumbled anyone around the skill level of Davis. Look for Rabadanov to not only extend his knockout streak to five straight here but also to become the first man to knock out Alfie Davis.

Prediction: Rabadanov by 2nd Round TKO

Liz Carmouche -270 vs. Jena Bishop +205

Veteran Flyweights square off here in the tournament final. Liz Carmouche is a strong and well-rounded fighter who aggressively hunts the finish till the end as she did with her last-second submission of Kana Watanabe. Jena Bishop is a high-level submission grappler who has finished most of her wins by tapout.

I feel that Carmouche's physicality is going to overwhelm Bishop, whether she can get on top or keep it standing and utilize her striking.

Prediction: Carmouche by Decision

Marcirley Alves -208 vs. Justin Wetzell +160

This matchup will be the Bantamweight tournament final. Marcirley Alves is a high-volume striker from the Chute Boxe gym who has shown significant improvements at his young age, having most recently defeated former UFC and Cage Warriors fighter Jake Hadley in an impressive decision win. Justin Wetzell is a solid grappler with a good submission game and strong control from top position.

I'll go with Alves here as he has the skills to defend or get back up from the takedowns of Wetzell and use his striking advantage to take control of this matchup.

Prediction: Alves by 3rd Round TKO

Mads Burnell -175 vs. Robert Watley +136

Fun matchup at Lightweight opens the main card here. Mads Burnell is a strong wrestler who smothers opponents with his top game and works to find submissions. Robert Watley returns to the PFL here on a four-fight win streak as an aggressive finisher with good striking and a submission game that has finished three of his last four fights.

I lean towards Burnell here, as he has shown a willingness to commit to a wrestling-heavy approach. I believe he can secure takedowns early and often, controlling his way to a decision.

Prediction: Burnell by Decision
