Just a month after his last win, Said Nurmagomedov is already booked again to face Jonathan Martinez at UFC Vegas 71 on March 11th at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, per Carlos Contreras Legaspi.

This fight takes place in the Bantamweight (135 lbs) division.

Said Nurmagomedov holds a professional record of 17-2-0 (6-1 UFC) and is currently ranked #14. His notable wins include Cody Stamann, Saidyokub Kakhramonov, and Douglas Silva de Andrade.

Jonathan Martinez holds a professional record of 17-4-0 (8-3 UFC) and is currently unranked. His notable wins include Cub Swanson, Zviad Lazishvili, and Thomas Almeida.

Official odds have yet to be released.

Nuragomedov's last fight was a display of heart and lethality against Saikyokub Kakhramonov in a massive comeback win. Down on the scorecards and consistently being taken down, he locked up a guillotine choke in a frantic exchange on the ground, forcing the tap. Despite finishing two of his last three fights via submission and holding the family name of Khabib Nurmagomedov, there isn't much relation between their fighting styles. Said is an elite striker who prefers to work on the feet, unlike his childhood friend and brother.

Jonathan Martinez also does his best work on the feet, as showcased in his last fight against Cub Swanson. He TKO'd the veteran with leg kicks after a thorough striking clinic and has now won 4 straight following his most recent loss to Davey Grant. Holding some impressive stats and counting himself among the few to finish a UFC fight via leg kicks, Martinez is in his absolute prime and has looked better with each fight.

This fight is going to be a great one in one of the most stacked divisons in the UFC. Let us know your prediction in the comments below.
