Family Life

Anna "Supergirl" Jaroonsak began training Muay Thai at age 3 with her sister, Nat "Wondergirl" Jaroonsak, under the tutelage of their father, Khru Charoon Chanthasri. Chanthasri is a decorated boxing and Muay Thai practitioner in his own right; however, he found much more success as a coach throughout his career.

The core values of combat sports have been some of the biggest things that have stuck with Jaroonsak since beginning all those years ago: discipline, structure, determination, and will.

Jaroonsak gained notoriety for having some of the most brutal knees in ONE Championship history. She can throw a straight "spear" knee like no one I've seen before. Check it out below.

Muay Thai and Kickboxing Career

Jaroonsak originally had no plans of becoming a professional; her only goal was to use Muay Thai for exercise and self-defense. However, after 7 years of training, the now 10-year-old Jaroonsak opted to take her first fight at a local temple festival, sighting a thirst for competition.

Jaroonsak won her first fight by KO in the second round, and when her father mentioned this was her debut, no spectators believed him.

More documentation is needed for her 47 fights; however, we know she earned the Nai Khanom Tom championship in 2019, organized by the Sporting Authority of Thailand, the most prestigious organization in the country.

Jaroonsak's final fights outside of ONE Championship came by earning and defending the 115 lb Thai Championship Belt against Khaiwan Sit Phanchoeng and Nong Benz Sakchatri, respectively.

ONE Championship Debut

Jaroonsak's ONE Championship debut came against Argentine Milagros Lopez, where she won by knockout in 1 minute with a straight right hand that caught Lopez on the end and dropped her. Jaroonsak was only 16 years old, the youngest fighter in ONE Championship history.

ONE Championship Career

Jaroonsak's following fight would see her win a razor close split decision over Belarusian Ekaterina "Barbie" Vandaryeva. This fight would go down as one of the most exciting of her career, as the 2 ladies went back and forth over 9 minutes.

Jaroonsak would return in a short-notice replacement fight against the former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai Champion, Stamp Fairtex, and take her to a close split decision, which had a solid case for "Supergirl" winning. Jaroonsak kept the pressure and landed some emphatic shots; however, the ex-champion survived to end up getting her hand raised.

Jaroonsak's most recent fight took place only 3 months ago against Spaniard Lara Fernandez, where she won by unanimous decision after controlling most of the fight.

Anna "Supergirl" Jaroonsak has a big future ahead of her; at only 19 years of age, the sky is the limit for her.

Next Fight

Catch Anna "Supergirl" Jaroonsak in her next fight against Christina Morales at ONE Championship on Prime Video 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade.
