Heavyweight contenders Tai Tuivasa and Sergei Pavlovich collide at UFC Orlando on Dec. 3rd at the Amway Center per Farah Hannoun.

This fight will be a Heavyweight (265 lbs) bout.

Tai Tuivasa holds a professional record of 15-4-0 and is currently ranked #4 in the Heavyweight division.

Sergei Pavlovich holds a record of 16-1 and is currently ranked #5 in the Heavyweight division.

Tuivasa is coming off of perhaps the biggest fight of his career to date against Ciryl Gane at UFC Paris. The two headlined the first-ever UFC event in France and put on a show to remember. Their Fight of The Year candidate ended in the 3rd round after Gane had inflicted too much damage and Tai was forced to go down. Although Tuivasa lost, he became the first man to knock down Gane and pushed him further than anyone prior, earning respect and applause from fans around the world.

Pavlovich, on the other hand, is riding the momentum of a sub-1-minute TKO of Derrick Lewis at UFC 277. The Black Beast tried to swarm Pavlovich but was countered, and a barrage of strikes sent him faceplanting to the ground, forcing the referee to step in. Lewis stood up quickly after the stoppage, prompting some fans to call it premature, but the win stands as Lewis did not defend himself from several strikes.

Both fighters are heavy-handed knockout artists that don't like to leave the 1st round, so perhaps the Verdict scorecard won't be needed.
