The UFC is in Atlantic City this weekend, headlined by rising stars Erin Blanchfield -185 and Manon Fiorot +160 in a pivotal Flyweight matchup. I went over every fight on this deep card and gave my predictions and best bets, so let's get into it.

Odds provided by BetOnline.ag accurate as of 3/25/2024 7:00 PM EST

Erin Blanchfield -185 vs. Manon Fiorot +160

Top contenders will meet in this Flyweight clash of styles, which will likely produce the next title challenger. Erin Blanchfield is a high-pressure grappler with a very good submission attack, although her wrestling is not the best, as it takes her a lot of work to get fights to the ground. Manon Fiorot is an elite kickboxer with very difficult-to-manage sidekicks, and she is very strong for the division, having shown elite takedown defense against solid grapplers like Jennifer Maia and Rose Namajunas.

I've got Fiorot here, as I believe she will be the more physical fighter, dictating where the fight takes place and dominating the striking.

Pick: Fiorot O/U: Over 4.5 -135

Vicente Luque -115 vs. Joaquin Buckley -105

Welterweight strikers with some incredible knockouts face off in this electric co-main event. Vicente Luque has slowed in recent fights, having clearly felt the damage taken over the years, but he remains a dangerous finisher with powerful boxing and a nasty submission attack to go with his granite chin. Joaquin Buckley is a powerhouse striker with insane athleticism; he has dominated both of his fights since moving down in weight, although I still have some concerns about his durability.

I lean towards Luque here as I feel he has the finishing and grappling upside, although it is tough to back him against the much younger fighter who will likely have the higher output.

Pick: Luque O/U: Over 2.5 +132

Bruno Silva -285 vs. Chris Weidman +245

A former Middleweight champion is back in action in this exciting clash of styles. Bruno Silva is a very powerful puncher who is tough to finish, having never been knocked out, although his ground game is not on that same level with him having been controlled and submitted several times. Chris Weidman returns again, which didn't go very well his last time out against Brad Tavares, with his legs taking a lot more damage en route to a decision loss, although he still has a strong pressure wrestling game.

Silva likely gets the knockout here, as I just don't believe Weidman will be able to take the damage necessary to get the win here.

Pick: Silva O/U: Over 1.5 -120

Nursulton Ruziboev -250 vs. Sedriques Dumas +210

Middleweights with a high finish rate matchup here on the main card. Nursulton Ruziboev looks to build off his strong UFC debut here after finishing Bruno Ferreira with an early knockout, showing his punching power, although he is also a very skilled grappler with many submissions on his record. Sedriques Dumas has looked very improved over his last two showings, having developed his wrestling game and maintained his strong kickboxing attack, although it has not been against the best of competition.

I'll pick Ruziboev as I believe his grappling will still be too much for Dumas, although with the recent improvements from Dumas, I'll pass at this price.

Pick: Ruziboev O/U: Over 1.5 +105

Bill Algeo -205 vs. Kyle Nelson +175

Featherweight veterans meet in this fan-friendly clash. Bill Algeo is a tall and long fighter with a high pace and solid grappling; he is hittable but has a good chin to make up for that. Kyle Nelson is a power puncher with a decent clinch game, although he is rather low-volume and struggles against other solid grapplers.

I like Algeo to put on a high pace that Nelson will not be able to match to either end up with a late finish or a clear decision victory.

Pick: Algeo O/U: Over 2.5 -223

Chidi Njokuani -139 vs. Rhys McKee +119

Two Welterweights who like to get it done by knockout faceoff here. Chidi Njokuani is a big power puncher who had some success up at Middleweight and is now moving back down; his cardio has been an issue, with him slowing down badly in fights. Rhys McKee is a long striker who keeps up a good pace, which has broken many of his opponents and nearly helped him score a late finish in his last fight against Ange Loosa.

I think McKee can survive a tough first round, and with Njokuani moving down in weight, I feel his cardio issue will be more prominent than usual, helping McKee score a late finish.

Pick: McKee O/U: Over 1.5 +100

Nate Landwehr +185 vs. Jamall Emmers -220

Can't-miss action is expected anytime these Featherweights are in the octagon. Nate Landwehr is an all-action fighter with a decently well-rounded game, showing high-volume striking and good submission skills. Jamall Emmers is a very long striker who has shown a very high ceiling, given his power punching and solid wrestling game as well.

I like Emmers here, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a knockout, given how often Landwehr gets hit and the power behind Emmers' shots.

Pick: Emmers O/U: Under 2.5 +110

Virna Jandiroba +170 vs. Loopy Godinez -200

Strawweight grapplers will face off in this pivotal matchup. Virna Jandiroba is a very skilled grappler with a developing striking game; she has improved her wrestling a lot in recent fights, having shown a good takedown game against Marina Rodriguez. Loopy Godinez is a very strong wrestler with a good striking game as well, although she doesn't always attack what would be her easiest path to victory, which has cost her.

I lean towards Jandiroba as the underdog here with her grappling, which could cause real problems for Godinez, who generally likes to be the better wrestler.

Pick: Jandiroba O/U: Over 2.5 -270

Julio Arce -400 vs. Herbert Burns +300

Two fighters coming off long layoffs will get back in action here at Featherweight. Julio Arce is a talented kickboxer with some flashy knockout wins, and he has only been submitted once in his pro career, which was eight years ago. Herbert Burns is a dangerous grappler for the first few minutes, although his cardio is a serious issue, with him being completely done after just a round against Bill Algeo.

Arce should dominate here as he will know if he can avoid an early submission, Burns will be done, which gives him a simple path to victory that he is very capable of following.

Pick: Arce O/U: Under 1.5 -115

Connor Matthews +108 vs. Dennis Buzukja -128

This one will be a firefight as two Featherweights with exciting styles match up here. Connor Matthews is a very gritty brawler with powerful standup and a good ground game, although he is extremely hittable, leaving his chin open very often. Dennis Buzukja is a hard hitter out of Serra BJJ who has had a tough run in the UFC thus far, having been dominated by Sean Woodson and knocked out early by Jamall Emmers.

I've got Matthews as the underdog here as I give him an edge on the ground and a significant edge in pace, which will be the difference.

Pick: Matthews O/U: Over 2.5 -160

Ibo Aslan -125 vs. Anton Turkalj +105

Light Heavyweights, who met outside of the UFC several years ago, will face off again here. Ibo Aslan is a powerhouse who is very dangerous early in fights, although he has not fought much good competition and clearly slows down in fights. Anton Turkalj won last time by surviving and securing a choke after his opponent was tired, and he could try the same thing again, as he is historically durable and has good cardio.

I lean with Turkalj to get the job done again in a similar fashion, although after being knocked out in his last fight, I am concerned his durability will not be the same.

Pick: Turkalj O/U: Over 1.5 -105

Melissa Gatto -146 vs. Victoria Dudakova +126

Young Flyweights square off here, looking to show they are the division's future. Melissa Gatto will look to get back on track after losing her last two; she has shown the ability to finish solid-level opposition, having finished Sijara Eubanks and Karol Rosa, and with her being only twenty-eight, she still has a lot of potential. Victoria Dudakova is an unbeaten prospect moving up in weight here after a miss before her last fight; she has a dangerous ground game, having won by submission in half of her pro fights.

I'll pick Gatto here because I see her as the more dangerous fighter with more high-level experience.

Pick: Gatto O/U: Over 2.5 -200

Andre Petroski +180 vs. Jacob Malkoun -210

Middleweight grapplers clash in this interesting matchup early on the card. Andre Petroski has shown that he is a dangerous submission artist who is very strong, although his cardio remains questionable with the pace he pushes early. Jacob Malkoun is a very strong wrestler with the ability to control some of the best in the division, as he showed in his fight with highly ranked Brendan Allen; he is not much of a finisher, opting for control over everything with each of his UFC wins coming by decision.

I've got Malkoun to win by decision here, as I see him taking the top position and avoiding Petroski's submissions to win the minutes.

Pick: Malkoun O/U: Over 2.5 -180

Angel Pacheco +285 vs. Caolan Loughran -350

Bantamweights open the card, each looking to return to the win column. Angel Pacheco comes in off a tough battle on Dana White's Contender Series, where he showed his toughness but not much else; all his wins have come inside the distance, showing he is a dangerous finisher and hard to put away. Caolan Loughran is a gritty wrestler coming in off a close debut loss to Taylor Lapilus, where he showed his wrestling skills but was ultimately outstruck by a solid opponent.

I like Loughran to take a decision here as he has competed with more quality competition and shown a more developed game.

Pick: Loughran O/U: Over 2.5 -105
