Leading up to their fight, Caio Borralho has raised questions about Imavov representing multiple countries, as Imavov represents both Dagestan, where he was born, and France, where he lives and trains.

Caio Borralho Talks Social Media Battle Against Imavov

Borralho was asked about the pre-fight trash talk that has taken place online between him and opponent Nassourdine Imavov, with Borralho claiming he pushed Imavov to use his social media more, which has resulted in more people talking about him.
