Conor McGregor wants to finish Michael Chandler with a head kick

Conor McGregor is anticipating a grand comeback in late 2023 against Michael Chandler after their coaching roles on The Ultimate Fighter 31. Despite his injury hiatus, McGregor is confident about his matchup, aiming for a head kick finish.

“I’m going to kick this guy in the head. He’s just tailor-made for being kicked all over the place, and that’s what I’m aiming for. I am aiming to wrap this steel bar around the opponent. And you’re going to see a visual of the leg hanging off and then you’re going to see a visual off a head hanging off. So I’m excited for that and motivated for that, and steady making my way towards it.”

Curtis Blaydes vs. Jailton Almeida is going down

Jailton Almeida is set to compete in a hometown bout against Curtis Blaydes. The UFC plans to feature this heavyweight showdown as the main event for a Fight Night event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 4. Although the fight has not been officially announced by the UFC, multiple sources, including MMA Fighting and MMA Junkie, have confirmed the matchup.

Almeida has been on a tear since making his UFC debut last year. He's been competing as a professional for 11 years and has 19 wins with a 100% finishing rate. This will be the toughest challenge of his career, as it's not going to be easy to take down Blaydes, who's one of the best wrestlers in the division.
