What’s he doing? Since his fight with Logan Paul got announced, Dillon’s been a menace on Twitter (X), posting pictures of Logan’s fiance Nina Agdal with other men. This includes photos of Agdale with Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx, and several others. He also posted several naked pictures of her.
How’s Logan taking it? According to Dillon, Logan Paul’s team sent him a cease and desist letter to stop him from posting pictures of his fiance. That hasn’t stopped Dillon, though. He’s continuing to post pictures of her throughout the day.
Why? O’Malley has always envisioned a rematch against Vera for the UFC Bantamweight title. With Cory Sandhagen and Merab Dvalishvili injured, O’Malley believes this fight makes the most sense if he and Vera both win their fights at UFC 292. It’s a big if, though, as O’Malley has the toughest test of his career in front of him.
When would it happen? O’Malley wants to fight Marlon Vera at UFC 296 in December if they both win on Saturday. This is the final UFC PPV of the year. Win or lose on Saturday; this could be O’Malley’s next fight.
The callout: McGregor called out YouTube star KSI at the Anthony Joshua fight last weekend. Usually, every other fighter calls out McGregor to a fight, but this time it was the Mac who called out KSI. The influencer boxing scene is getting increasingly popular, and McGregor wants to participate. Seeing Nate Diaz fight Jake Paul might have influenced him.
McGregor’s UFC contract: He only has two fights left on his UFC contract, and then he’s a free agent. He’s said many times that he wants to stay with the UFC, but fights like KSI might not be possible in the Octagon. Regardless of how his next 2 fights in the UFC go, he will be the most sought-after free agent in combat sports.
What he thinks: He’s carrying the entire card, and without him, the card would go down the drain. Even with Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley fighting, Garry believes he’s the biggest Superstar on the card.
Is it true? Not really. There’s no doubt that Garry has the potential to be a Superstar. He’s legitimately a great prospect, and he strives for greatness. But saying he’s a bigger Superstar than Sean O’Malley at this stage isn’t accurate, especially in the United States where most of the PPV revenue will come from.
What he thinks: He thinks it’s crazy that he’s on the prelims after breaking his leg on a UFC PPV. This put a chip on his shoulder, and he’s using this as fuel to make a statement.
Is fighting on the prelims that bad? Not in the position that he’s in, as it’s the final preliminary fight before the main card kicks off. The final prelim fight usually gets more viewers than the actual PPV because it’s on free TV. This is why Urijah Faber preferred fighting in this position.
What’s happening? Chandler told Daniel Cormier that he’s not holding his breath on fighting McGregor in December. He thinks McGregor is spending more time on boats than he is hitting bags which makes him unsure if they’ll fight in December.
How long can Chandler wait? That’s up to him. McGregor isn’t in a rush to come back, and there’s no possible fight that’s bigger for Chandler right now. With that said, Chandler is 37 years old, missing out on pay cheques waiting for McGregor.
Why? Strickland is a controversial character, and the UFC was afraid that he would ‘embarrass’ them. Adesanya pushed for the fight to happen, and the UFC listened to him.
Why the fight makes sense: Adesanya has beaten everyone at the top of his division except the sidelined Dricus Du Plessis. He wants to fight a fresh opponent, and that’s exactly what Strickland is.
