PFL 2 is tonight, and UFC 300 is tomorrow. It's a great weekend to be an MMA fan.

Details: At the UFC press conference, Dana White was asked by a reporter if Mark Coleman would be able to wrap the BMF title around the winner of the "Baddest Motherfucker" title bout this weekend between Gaethje and Holloway. His response? "Done".

Why? Both Gaethje and Holloway asked for Coleman to do it. This spurred from Coleman rescuing both of his parents from a house fire in March and resulted in him being placed in critical condition. He has since been discharged from the hospital and will now be at UFC 300.

The story: In 2023, Impa Kasangany went 5-0 in the PFL, winning the PFL Light-Heavyweight Championship alongside the $1,000,000 prize. Then, he faced off against Johnny Eblen in the PFL vs. Bellator event and lost by a close split decision. Now, he's back in the tournament.

The opponent Kasangany will face Alex Polizzi in the main event, a three-round bout in which both men can earn points for the PFL playoffs. Polizzi is 10-3 in MMA, with four wins in Bellator and an 80% finish rate.

Prelims: We know this has been one of the most requested features on the platform. Starting with UFC 300, prelims will be included with all cards on the Verdict platform. They will come on separate cards, and you will have extra XP to use on them.

Continued: Strickland had a positive meeting with the UFC, coming out saying, "Let's do some bleeding." We may be getting a fight announcement between the two shortly.

Who got them? Four fighters from the main card got custom shorts. Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje, Alex Pereira, and Zhang Weili will both wear custom shorts in their matchups.

The design? Holloway finally got his wish with a white, blue, and red floral pattern. Gaethje has black shorts with the American flag embedded. Pereira has the Pataxo tribe colors inscribed, and Weili will have traditional Chinese markings in red on her shorts.

**Previous bonus money: **The regular bonus check in the UFC is $50,000 for a Performance of The Night or a Fight of The Night. However, this has been adjusted at some events, such as UFC 262, where it was increased to $75,000.

UFC 300? The bonus money for the FOTN or a POTN will be $300,000, sextuple the usual amount fighters receive. This came from Mike Bohn asking Dana if the bonuses would increase. After a brief discussion on the stage, the significant number was announced.

Where? In an interview with The Schmo, Gilbert Burns discussed his recent loss to Jack Della Maddalena. He now has lost two fights straight (the first time in his career) and is ranked the #6 Welterweight. Despite this, he wants to return soon, saying August is a good month.

Who? Burns said that Geoff Neal, Sean Brady, and Joaquin Buckley would all be great return fights for him, but he doesn't care about who or their ranking; he wants to fight again.
