Nikita Krylov🇺🇦 (30-9) is a Light Heavyweight veteran coming off a layoff from March 2023, which worries me if he will be exactly the same. At age 32, it shouldn't be an issue, but it's still a concern. He is an amazing grappler with 16 submissions on his record who will prioritize using his average striking with sneaky power to open up takedowns for himself. I do worry about how exposed his chin is on the feet, though. Dominick Reyes🇺🇸 (14-4) is a powerful and athletic forward pressure striker who throws combinations in volume and looks to draw out counters. The biggest worry about his stand-up is how bad his chin is, but it's at least been able to hold up against the likes of 2024 Anthony Smith. Reyes has alright offensive wrestling of his own, but on the ground, he prioritizes ground & and pound, which could be a factor if he stuns Krylov and either shoots or falls into top position. My pick is Krylov by RD2 TKO. I don't trust Dominicks durability or how he was being touched by Anthony Smith in their fight.
