Result: Mick Parkin def. Mohammed Usman via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Division: Heavyweight Referee: Mark Smith
Usman did the best work in the first round, landing big power shots and opening a cut over Parkin’s left eye. Parkin recovered in the second, landing brutal leg kicks and significantly slowing down Usman. Parkin continued to control the pace in the third, landing more leg kicks despite Usman’s efforts to turn up the heat, securing him the victory.
Result: Disqualification (Severino disqualified for biting Lima’s arm) Division: Flyweight Referee: Chris Tognoni
The first round was full of wild exchanges, with both men nearly finishing each other on the feet and attempting multiple submission attempts. The second round continued at the same pace, with Severino seeming to have gained the edge. Bafflingly, the fight was stopped and ultimately ended when it was discovered that Severino had blatantly bitten Lima's arm.
Result: Daria Zhelezniakova def. Montserrat Rendon via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Division: Women’s Bantamweight Referee: Jason Herzog
Zhelezniakova got her boxing going early, leading Rendon to repeatedly shoot takedowns, landing two and holding top position to end the round. In the second, Zhelezniakova started walking Rendon down, landing constant right hands until Rendon secured a takedown at the end of the round. Zhelezniakova outpaced Rendon in the third, keeping the fight standing and boxing up Rendon to the final bell.
Result: Jarno Errens def. Steven Nguyen via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Division: Featherweight Referee: Mark Smith
Both would land damage in the first round, with Errens doing the most significant work with his leg kicks. Although he got busted up at the start of the second, Errens would continue to come forward and damage Nguyen with leg kicks, landing a big right hand at the end of the round to score a knockdown. By the third, Nguyen’s movement had been completely compromised but managed to make it a dogfight, with Errens coming out the victor.
Result: Miles Johns def. Cody Gibson via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Division: Bantamweight Referee: Herb Dean
Gibson started on the pressure in the first, but Johns secured a takedown and controlled him for the majority of the round, also scoring a knockdown towards the end of the round. Gibson kept pressuring in round two, even taking Johns’ back, but would ultimately get reversed and controlled for most of the round. A bit more striking played out in the third round, and Johns landed the biggest shots, ultimately securing another takedown, more control time, and the win.
Result: Julian Erosa def. Ricardo Ramos via Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 2:15 of Round 1. Division: Featherweight Referee: Chris Tognoni
Ramos came out, guns blazing, badly hurting and taking down Erosa. Erosa shook him off, and when Ramos shot for another takedown, he secured the guillotine choke and the victory.
Result: Trey Ogden def. Kurt Holobaugh by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Division: Lightweight Referee: Mark Smith
Holobaugh pushed the pace to start but overextended, got taken down, and was controlled until the end of the round. Holobaugh started the second round similarly, getting the better of Ogden on the feet until Ogden took him down and controlled him in half guard for most of the round. Holobaugh headhunted in the third round, with Ogden yet again securing a takedown and holding top position for the majority of the round.
Result: Fernando Padilla def. Luis Pajuelo via Submission (D’arce Choke) at 2:45 of Round 1. Division: Featherweight Referee: Jason Herzog
Padilla controlled from the opening bell, coming forward and damaging Pajuelo with punches and kicks. He dropped Pajuelo with a left hand, landed some ground and pound, and when Pajuelo got back to his feet, Padilla locked up the D’arce choke for the submission victory.
Result: Youseff Zalal def. Billy Quarantillo via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 1:50 of Round 2. Division: Featherweight Referee: Herb Dean
Zalal controlled on the feet before landing a fantastic trip takedown, solid ground and pound, and nearly securing a rear naked choke. In the second round, he picked apart Quarantillo on the feet before securing a nearly identical takedown. Zalal worked his way to the back, sunk in the choke again, and forced Quarantillo to tap.
Result: Payton Talbott def. Cameron Saaiman via KO (Punches) at 0:21 of Round 2. Division: Bantamweight Referee: Chris Tognoni
Talbott immediately controlled the pace, repeatedly rocking and even dropping Saaiman in the first round. He got right back on the pressure in round two, landing even more vicious shots, forcing the referee to step in and award Talbott the knockout victory.
Result: Edmen Shahbazyan def. AJ Dobson via KO (Punches) at 4:33 of Round 1. Division: Middleweight Referee: Mark Smith
They’d exchange on the feet to start the first round, with Dobson landing the bigger shots. Dobson rocked Shahbazyan and ended up on top briefly before Shahbazyan returned to his feet. Shahbazyan landed a big hook at the end of the round to drop Dobson before he landed ground and pound to secure the finish.
Result: Karl Williams def. Justin Tafa via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) Division: Heavyweight Referee: Herb Dean
The two would exchange on the feet at the start of the first, With Tafa landing some cracking shots, but Williams secured a takedown and controlled Tafa for most of the round. Tafa would come out swinging again in the second, even denying a few takedowns before Williams finally got it to the mat, threatening submissions and ground and pound to the bell. The third would play out much the same: good work from Tafa early before a takedown from Williams and ground control for the victory.
Result: Rose Namajunas def. Amanda Ribas via Unanimous Decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) Division: Women’s Flyweight Referee: Jason Herzog
In the first, they traded strikes, with Namajunas landing the biggest shots and securing some control time on the ground. Namajunas clearly controlled the striking in the second, with Ribas attempting to get the fight to the mat without much success. Namajunas continued piecing up Ribas in the third, although Ribas remained right there in front of her, making it a fight, even securing a takedown and landing ground and pound on Namajunas. The pace slowed in the fourth, with both putting out less volume and Namajunas securing more control time until the end of the round. Ribas would give it all she had in the fifth, repeatedly attempting spinning attacks, but Namajunas remained in control and earned the victory.
