Sean O'Malley dominates to decision win in rematch against Marlon "Chito" Vera UFC 299

Sean O'Malley defended his title with a five-round performance, winning unanimously over his rival Marlon "Chito" Vera at UFC 299.

Sean O'Malley got off to a great start, landing hard kicks and doing good work to the body. Round two saw complete domination from O'Malley, as he landed a massive knee and an incredible volume of strikes, including a knockdown at the end of the round. Round three saw a slight drop in volume but continued domination from O'Malley for most of the round. Round four saw some life from Vera as he was able to land several hard shots and get some blood from O'Malley's nose, but still, O'Malley landed more volume. The final round saw O'Malley land a huge right hand that nearly finished Vera, but the fight ended with a nice shot to the body from Vera. The judges scored the contest 50-45, 50,45, and 50-44, all in favor of Sean O'Malley.
