Obviously considered and is one of the greatest cards of all time, stacked from top to bottom. 9 is a fair rating. However i do have my issues with this one. First off Bo nickel opening the main card was a clear sign of privelage and Do not get the placement considering the matchup but we know Bo is going to and after this was on big cards in big moments. Jiri Rakic would have been the perfect main card opener and was the fight everybody expected. The co main as well, I don’t appreciate when the UFC tries to make us think a fight is “big” just because a title is on the line, we knew that fight wasn’t going to be close and Xionan at the time was not a big name either. The prelims I believe could have been much better as well, was it “stacked” for prelims, sure, but for a card like 300 the names were decent but certain matchups were underwhelming. Alex and Hill I believe was a decent main event, I know that the UFC was offering the likes of Leon Edwards and also at the time just other divisions were not ready or at the time for a title shot so why they had to work with I am not upset with it, and this fight put Alex into a prime spot to be the Face of the UFC. The card in my personal opinion is not even my personal best card of that year, and cards the following year were better. But cannot give this card Lower then a 9 considering the moments and the specialty of it. Also last note, this event is remembered for the Holloway KO of course, but feel that overshadows a lot as that fight itself was not the craziest barn burner, Max dominated pretty easily and broke Justin’s nose early. Arman and Charles was razor close. I just would have liked a different Co main and more substance overall, however cannot take the fact away this is one of the cards of all time.
